More On-set Photos of 'Glee' Post-Super Bowl Episode Emerged
More on-set photos of "Glee" post-Super Bowl episode have just emerged but the cast look a little different this time. Like it was previously reported, the cast are doing a tribute to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and it looks like the performing number will be done in the football field while everybody is still in their jerseys.
Spotted in the photos posted by Collider are Lea Michele and Amber Riley. It looks like these two will lead as solos, backed up by guys and girls as zombies and the school's marching band. There's another set of pictures at RadarOnline.com which shows a glimpse of Artie on wheelchair.
"It's never what you really expect," Michele said of the episode's big number. "It's definitely 'Glee'-ified."
FOX has not released the official synopsis to the February 6 episode. It was reported that this "Thriller" performance will be mashed up with Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll". Beside this number, there will also be songs made popular by Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child and Lady Antebellum.

'How I Met Your Mother' Shocked Its Audience on Monday
Call it a comedy with heart, "How I Met Your Mother" shocked its audience on Monday, January 3 night with its sad ending. Executive producer Carter Bays has just admitted that the decision to kill Marshall's dad is "kind of built the whole season around".
The episode, called "Bad News", is centered on Marshall and Lily trying to have a baby. Initially believing they had fertility problems, they found out the otherwise. Marshall celebrated it by going to MacLaren's with his pals but he realized that his parents were waiting for the good news. As he phoned home, nobody picked up. Lily exited a cab and told him the bad news.
"We felt like one important ingredient in the early seasons of the show was that there was some angst and there was some sadness, and it was a way for us to really mine our own lives and to really fully explore emotions about situations that we've been in," Bays explained in an interview with E! Online.
"There are a few touchstones in life that are really sad, and this is one of them. It's something that a few writers on the show have gone through and we kind of built the whole season around this moment as will be revealed in the remaining 11 episodes. The first half of the season was kind of us getting our ducks in a row, and this event will set off everything else that follows."
Regarding what's coming ahead for Marshall, Bays said, "Marshall is a character with so much heart and it's hard to see him go through something bad. I remember the season finale of season one, it was sort of gut-wrenching seeing him after Lily dumped him."
"We knew we wanted to do something to explore this particular milepost in living life in your thirties. It's something that does happen to people. We always knew that this might be something Marshall goes through, and it felt like this was the right time to do it."
"How I Met Your Mother" returns January 17 with "Last Words". The gang travels home to Minnesota with Marshall where Ted and Barney will stop at nothing to make Marshall laugh. Meanwhile, Marshall has an unfortunate meeting with an old high school bully that terrorized him throughout his youth.

'True Grit' and 'Black Swan' Ruled Out of The Oscar Race
The scores for "True Grit" and "Black Swan" have been ruled out of the Oscar race - because they feature too much existing music. Officials at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences have selected 77 film scores for members to vote on between now and January 14, when the ballots are due - and there are some big omissions.
The Academy bosses have disqualified Clint Mansell's "Black Swan" score and Carter Burwell's "True Grit" music - because they feature themes from Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" and sections from 19th-century music, respectively. Burwell's "The Kids Are All Right" score has also been disqualified because the film was "diluted" by having too many songs on the soundtrack, according to EW.com.
Composer James Newton Howard leads the Best Score list with four eligible efforts for "Salt", "Love and Other Drugs", "The Last Airbender" and "The Tourist", while another Oscars favorite, Alexandre Desplat, and David Arnold have three apiece. Clint Eastwood is also on the shortlist for his Hereafter music. The nominations will be announced on January 25.
A Planned Big Screen Adaption of 'Stargate Atlantis'Shelved
A planned big screen adaption of "Stargate Atlantis" has been shelved "indefinitely" following the cancellation of sci-fi TV show "Stargate Universe" earlier this month. The series, a spin-off from popular 1994 film "Stargate", will come to an end in the spring, and the axing of the show appears to have put plans for a movie on hold.
TV show "Stargate Atlantis" aired from 2004 to 2009. In a post on his blog, executive producer Joe Mallozzi reveals, "I'm sorry to say, but the cancellation puts the brakes on whatever progress the SGA movie had made in the past month. Contrary to what some may think, the cancellation of SGU is very bad news for those looking forward to an Atlantis movie."
'The Grandmasters'Made Available for Viewing Pleasure
A teaser to Wong Kar Wai's next film "The Grandmasters" has been made available for viewing pleasure. It, however, does not offer a look at the footage from the film but features some letters which come in and out on black background.
Some posters from the film were unveiled at Los Angeles' American Film Market last November and can be seen here. Additionally, there is a picture which gives a look at Zhang Ziyi in her character's costume.
Little is known about the story but it is a story of martial-arts master Ip Man, played by Tony Leung. The existing plotline says, "In martial arts there is no right or wrong, only the last man standing." The action drama, that will mark Wong Kar Wai's first kung fu movie, is expected to come out sometime in 2011.
A Feature Film Based on An Already Famous Work
A feature film based on an already famous work can generate a positive boost from its fans, but it also puts more pressure at the same time with people's higher expectation. Take a look at "Eat Pray Love" which stars Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts. While bringing good visualization of the beautiful scenery, it lost the spiritual and emotional weight that makes the book inspirational.
Still, some filmmakers would not miss a chance to taste the success of renowned TV shows, novels, comics, etc. This year alone, there will be a plenty of movie adaptations ranging from superhero-themed "Captain America: The First Avenger" to sci-fi "Cowboys and Aliens" to magical "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II". Kate Gosselin and Kids Flew to Australia
Australia is about to get one more endorsement from an American television show. Oprah Winfrey came to the smallest continent earlier this month for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and Kate Gosselin has followed her footstep by visiting it for holiday with her kids. While there, TLC's cameras also tagged along to document the vacation for "Kate Plus 8".
Kate and the eight kids have flown to Australia to ring in the new year. According to Radar Online, they will also stop by New Zealand during the trip. While dad Jon Gosselin did not join them, Kate is accompanied by her bodyguard Steve Nield. Since this is part of the reality show's filming, then all the bills go to TLC.
"Kate and the kids flew-out just before midnight last night in what will be a staggered trip to Australia and New Zealand," a source told Radar. "Obviously, Jon was informed of the excursion and the kids will not see their father again until mid-January when they return to America with their mom."
"They will be filming for Kate Plus 8 and the kids are excited about visiting both Australia and New Zealand. Steve Nield - who is from New Zealand - will also be traveling with them while they tour both countries."
No clue yet for which episode the Australian vacation would be.
